I am President/CEO of PEACE DAY, a Nonprofit Corporation registered with the WA State Secretary of State. PEACE!!!!!!
I am particularly interested in Veterans: WW II, Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan. We must treat our Veterans better!!!!

I do not support our involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. I do not feel safer where I live on the East Hill of Kent, WA, USA because we are killing Taliban and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
I support everything on the Obama agenda EXCEPT the two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am OFA AND PROUD OF IT. BUT I DO NOT SUPPORT THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN, MR. PRESIDENT.
Saddam Hussein was not a very nice man but at least the trains ran on time and there was order. Now there are suicide bombers seemingly every other day.

Have we learned nothing from ALEXANDER THE GREAT, GENGKIS KHAN, THE BRITISH. THE SOVIETS AND THE FRENCH AT DIEM BEN PHU. AND THE FALL OF SAIGON.THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW THEIR HISTORY AND LEARN FROM IT, ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT.
WE CANNOT AND WILL NOT WIN THE WAR IN ARGHANISTAN, DESPITE WHAT GENERAL PATRAEUS SAYS. AFGHANISTAN IS THE GRAVE YARD OF GREAT EMPIRES. IS AMERICA NEXT?
WE HAD OUR CHANCE TO NEGOGIATE WITH THE TALIBAN.BIBI AND MURDER OF THE MEDICAL WORKERS WAS A PR NIGHT MARE FOR THE TALIBAN.
AND THEN PASTOR TERRY JONES IN GAINSVILLE, WITH HIS THREAT TO BURN THE KORANS, MADE THE TALIBAN LOOK LIKE SAINTS IN COMPARISON. IT MADE NO DIFFERENCE THAT HE ACTUALLY DID NOT BURN THE KORANS. THE DAMAGE WAS DONE THE SAME DAY HE ANNOUNCED HIS INTENT. THERE WAS RIOTING IN KABUL AND MALAYSIA THE LARGEST MUSLIM NATION IN TH E WORLD, T.HAT NIGHT.
NOW THE STRING WILL PLAY OUT IN AFGHANISTAN WE ROUTED THE TALIBAN NINE YEARS AGO AND THEY ARE BACK, AND THEY WILL BE BACK AFTER WE LEAVE.

You cannot have internal Peace if you cannot sit in a room by yourself, alone for an extended amount of time (half an hour to one hour) with no television, no food, no newspapers or magazines, no conversation……with your thoughts and feelings. __________________________ The next level of Peace is interpersonal/relationship Peace You cannot have Peace if men are beating on women, or women are beating on men; or gays or lesbians are abusing their partners. ____________________________ The next level of Peace is societal/civil Peace. You cannot have Peace if law enforcement officers are killing civilians, or civilians are killing law enforcement officers. ___________________________ The final level of Peace if international/world Peace. You cannot have Peace if Israelis are killing Palestinians,or Palestinians are killing Israelis. You cannot have Peace if Taliban and Al Qadea are killing Americans, or Americans are killing Al Qadea and Taliban.
